To the person in charge of weather, Did you see this? She wrote that a few days ago and I heard someone say snow might be coming! SNOW! Look, she’s wordy. I know it. It’s my personal cross to bear. Getting a one-word command out of her is like pulling teeth. But that post was actually not, so you couldn’t have missed our plea. Let’s get on this. I like to fetch Frisbees and I can’t do that in rain

UPDATE: I went to the pet store yesterday at 12 p.m. to replace the recently departed and got a couple of Kong and Nylabone toys. The Nylabone toys are currently holding strong, but the Kong toys look very sad indeed (see pics) after an hour of quality time with Lexi. The trainer at the pet store was quite helpful and had this to say as I returned them for a refund, “Well, that’s a lab for you.” I gave her a pocket of silence

My family is gone for the night and all the nooks and crannies of my empty house are conspiring to produce some of the creepiest and malevolent kinds of sounds. I definitely hear footsteps. I’m so sick of winter! This March has been worse than usual because it has tempted us with the brief periods of glorious warmth and then stomped all over our spirit with the unending days of rain and snow, GAH! And could we have picked a worse year to get a puppy? I feel like last year’s March was well-behaved with normal temperatures and proper precipitation. But this year, Lexi and I are looking out the window in disgust. Poor

I find it amusing how much the car you drive affects how others on the road perceive you. Isn’t this a bit ridiculous? I currently drive a minivan which doesn’t really suit my driving personality. However, we bought it because it is roomy as hell. You can cart so many kids in it that it’s possible I’ve got a stowaway of a much greater size than in my last vehicle. When cleaning out that vehicle preparing it for sale, we
